Three Groups in Three Palawan Destinations

Handling 10 is not easy, keeping 35 tourists is never an easy task, but super fun!

I, together with tour coordinator Jesdame Ocampo, photographer Jessa Lynne Galvez and tour assistant Mark Anton Iglesias challenged ourselves to handle this big group. Different people from different places, all gathered together in this one special tour we arranged. A four-day tour program visiting Puerto Princesa City, Underground River and the beautiful islands of El Nido.

These three destinations were well-managed and organized by Galvez All-in Travel, thanks to the help of my guide counterparts Raquel and Martin. Both of them are from Palawan and without them, we could’ve given our tourists the right amount of entertainment and information they needed.

It was a great choice opting the island hopping tour with Small Lagoon as that time (summer time), we expected a crowd of tourists but we are fortunate that traffic was already organized. The Municipal Tourism Office has already decided to limit the number of tourists visiting the prime destinations – Big and Small Lagoons, and now with P200 fee, which is on top of the existing P200 environmental fee.

Our patience were tested as our boatmen hit a notch beyond what is expected them to do. With our talent of keeping the feelings by ourselves and extended patience, we were able to handle the situation gracefully.

The group was composed of tourists from Baguio City, Pagadian City, Alaminos City, Nueva Ecija, Manila and Pangasinan.

The exerted efforts were all worth as we commence the tour with a dinner lei where all were able to speak out and share their happy thoughts about their experience.
