The Challenging Thailand-Cambodia Mixed Group Tour

The Thailand-Cambodia Tour is one of the most memorable tours I ever handled. Here, we celebrate a lot of firsts. Tita Lina had her birthday on August 1 to 2 different countries! Another is the first-time to fly together of Tita Myrna and Myda. Most of all, the first special friendship we all had!

It was a risky attempt to do a twin-country tour for the first time. But gladly, we made a successful stint to not just 2 cities but three – Pattaya City, Bangkok City and Siem Reap. I handled 14 tourists where we flew altogether to Bangkok on July 30. August 1, the group was divided into half as eight of us has to fly to Siem Reap to experience Angkor Tour.

The smooth landing and the sumptuous food set served by Thai Smile of Thai Airways made us feel real VIPs. All my tourists were shocked as we arrived in at Angkor Elysium Resort, where none of them really had an idea what the hotel looks like prior to our flight.

Touring around the Angkor Complex is not easy. You need a lot of energy, patience and water! Gladly, my tour guide counterpart was patient enough to somehow entertain my group. We all had loads of fun shots together as we visit Angkor Wat, Baiyon Temple and the ever-famous Tomb Raider Temple.

The tour is Cambodia lasted for 3 days and wraps up with a city tour coupled with another round of shopping as per their request. Here, being flexible is very crucial. As a guide, you need to think quick and consider which one shall be done first or skip the rest without compromising the satisfaction you can give to your tourists.
